Sunday , March 11, all Porsche fans who visited the Los Angeles Literature and Toy Show on saturday, and the different open houses on friday and saturday evening, headed direction Anaheim, California. This city in the vicinity of Los Angeles, is mostly known because of Disneyland.
Ofcourse our goal wasn't the theme park, we were all heading for the Phoenix Club, where this years Sunday meet would take place.
Those who wanted a place to sell their stuff had to be there real early, somewhere between 5 and 6 AM to be exact. There were approximately 150 sellers, and I've been told at about 7 AM they had to refuse people since all places were sold. Buyers and visitors could enter the premises at about 8 AM, which is real early for European Standards. I arrived at 9Am, but since I wasn't really looking for any particular part, that wasn't to bad at all.
As you can see on the pictures, all cars were allowed, and it ranged from the early 356 to the latest 996 and 997's.
I've been at the sunday event for the 4year in a row now, and this was the 4th different place it was held. Personally I liked the place a lot, and I've been told this place was almost as good, if not as good as the famous events at Dunkels which I unfortunately never experienced.
Next year, first weekend of March, same place there will be another event. Let's just hope this will become a great tradition , Dunkel style again !!
