Last weekend, the race-track of Spa-Franchorchamps was invaded once again by oldtimer enthusiasts from all over Europe, and even the USA.
As usual Friday is the day all teams and drivers drive to adjust the cars, and to qualify for the races that go on on Saturday and Sunday.
The Spa 6 hours has lots of participants from the UK , so not to wonder the great amount of british cars like Lotus, Coopers, Jaguars, Aston Martins and so on. But ofcourse, there's lots of great other cars too, like the yellow sharknose, a great Ferrari, a car the Belgian Olivier Gendebien raced at the 1961 F1 championship race in Franchorchamps.A great car that is, but let's go to our real love.. the Porsches
How about 2 Porsches ST on the entry list, some RSR's, some 904's, Porsches 356..
The silver Porsche 904 with number 33 actually is 1 of only 5 Porsches 904 with a 6 cylinder engine used by the factory ,and this one actually drove the 24h of Le Mans. Unfortunately the car had a crash in the 6hour race, too bad I don't have pictures of the car after the crash.
