The Belgium based 911Motorsport organises twice a year a trackday at the private owned race track of Abbeville. In case you are familiar with the French Flat-6 Magazine, you probably know about the track, as they use it for lots of their tests too.
The trackdays aren't Porsche only, but as you can read in the organiser's name 911Motorsport, it soon becomes clear that you can see Porsches on the track. And it's not just like a few guys who drive their Porsches to France for a lovely day out, hell no. People drive their cars on the track as if they're life depends on it. Everything goes on safe, but yes there's smoking rubber.
And it's like all kind of Porsches and cars you can see on the track, last april a guy enjoyed the track in its Audi R8 for a day, just before leaving the next day for the Nordschleife.
How about seeing a rare Porsche 911 SCRS drifting on the track , or a Porsche 911ST?
Even 2 Porsches RSR were present, a stunning Porsche 904. Ok it's a replica, but nevertheless just a gorgeous car, some early Porsches 911 with a 911R look, actually as you will notice on the pictures, this 3day event is just about fun. And that's what our cars are, aren't they ?
