Last weekend of March, the Porsche dealership of Gelderland (Netherlands) celebrated its 5th anniversary. And ofcourse there's no birthday celebration without a party. Well, that's exactly what the management of the Porsche dealership wanted, a unique party.
They decided to convert their dealership into a museum, and oh my goodnes, what a museum.
I'm quite sure there's never been a Porsche showroom before, with such a nice collection of Zuffenhausen toys. 50 cars from all ages , depicting somehow the complete history of Porsche.
And what I like so much about this, is that all the cars are owned by true Porsche lovers, the dealership just asked friends, clients who own one or more Porsches to bring them in the showroom. And the result was without any doubt stunning. How about 2 Porsche 550 RS Spyder, a Porsche 356 Carrera GT Speedster, a Porsche 356 Convertible D, a 1955 Porsche 356 Cabriolet, a 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster, a 1952 Porsche 356 Coupe, a 1964 Porsche 904, 1967 Porsche 911R, 1967 Porsche Targa Softwindow, a 1964 356 C SC Cabriolet, the extremely rare Porsche 718/2 Monoposto formermy raced by Carel Godin de Beaufort and now owned by the Louwman Museum in The Hague, A 1962 356 Carrera 2 Cabriolet, 1973 Porsche RS and RSR, a Porsche 911 ST, a Porsche 928 S, a 1983 police 911 SC, a 1989 RUF CTR 'Yellowbird', a 1987 Porsche 928 Club Sport Prototype,a Porsche 959 , a Porsche 911 SC/RS just to name some of them..
And as usual words just cannot describe what eyes can see, so enjoy the pictures. And a big THANK YOU to the management of Porsche Gelderland for this wonderfull initiative
